I canno’t stress the negatives of salt water pools enough. For one, they really are not chemical free. Basically, salt water pools are created by creating chlorine with salt. That is why they call them salt water chlorinators. Salt water is also horrible for your pool equipment, pool liner, and stonework, which was shown in the the salt water pool damage post I did a couple of days ago.
Now, thousands are starting to see damage to their pool equipment, due to their salt water pool system. If you you have had a problem with a salt water pool system, we would love to hear about it.
